People in Cabaceira eat paracetamol as candy I sometimes say as a joke, but it is almost true: they love taking pills. Selling them in the village would be a good business: vitamins, paracetamol, asprine, but also other pills which are not always available in the clinic: anti-biotics, malaria etc.
The teacher of the madrassa, wanted to start an other business in selling mais meal, rice etc and I adviced him this possibility. I have alway apreciated the survival spirit of this guy enormously. Being cripled and only being able to crawl or with the help of a very bad wheelchair, he always finds new ways to survive. Now he is a well estimed teacher within the community. To start he needs $500,- to get his first stock and to re-do his house as a shop. He will pay the amount back within 1 year.
